Public Housing

The SNRHA Housing Developments are located throughout Clark County. Additionally, SNRHA owns scattered site properties (single-family homes) which are also part of the Conventional Public Housing Program. Of the 24 developments, 4 designated senior developments, 5 are designated as elderly/disabled developments and 15 are designated as family developments. The SNRHA currently owns 2751 units of housing in Clark County and houses about 7290 people under the public housing program.

Aida Brents
Aida Brents is a Public Housing development for seniors 62 & older and/or disabled. This community offers 24 one bedroom units, wheelchair accessibility if needed, and on-site laundry facility. Archie Grant Park

Archie Grant Park
Archie Grant Park is a Public Housing development for seniors. It was established in the year 1964. The community has 125 units that range from zero to two bedroom sizes. Arthur D. Sartini Annex

Arthur D. Sartini Annex
Arthur D. Sartini Annex is a Public Housing development for seniors. This complex offers 39 - one bedroom units and it is located at 5200 Alpine, Las Vegas, Nevada 89107. This community is close to local restaurants, arts center, and casino. Sartini Plaza

Arthur D. Sartini Plaza
Arthur D. Sartini Plaza is a Public Housing high-rise development for seniors. It was established in the year 1983. This complex has 220 units from one to two bedrooms within each unit. It is located at 900 South Brush Street, Las Vegas, NV 89107. This community is close to local restaurants, an arts center, and casino. Ernie Cragin Terrace
Ernie Cragin Terrace is a Public Housing Development for families. The community has 40 units that range from one to four bedrooms. These units have attractive desert landscaping with excellent curb appeal and is within walking distance to local elementary and middle schools, sports complex and park. Biegger Estates
Beigger Estates is a Public Housing Development for families. This community has 119 units including 87 - two bedroom units, 22 - three bedroom units, and 10 - four bedroom units. This property opened in 1986 and was named in honor of Jack Biegger, former Commissioner. The single-story units are newly renovated and feature new appliances, cabinets, floors and fixtures. They also include evaporative coolers and storage space. The property offers ample parking, open green areas, playgrounds and an EOB WIC (Women Infants and Children) Center. The Whitney Community Center is conveniently located across the street. It is close to shopping centers, banks, schools, and bus routes. This eastside property is west of Boulder Highway at Missouri, just south of Tropicana. Espinosa Terrace

Espinoza Terrace
Espinoza Terrace is a Public Housing development for seniors. This community has 100 units including: 60 - efficiency units, 36 - one bedroom units, and 4 - two bedroom units. This property opened in 1973 and was the first public housing development for seniors. It was named in honor of Art Espinoza, former Board Chairman and Vice Chairman. The walk-in units feature air conditioning, carpet, security screens, emergency call button in the bathrooms, and patio/sitting areas in the courtyards. The well-lighted property has handicapped parking, wide open green areas with mature landscaping, paved walk-ways, barbeque pit areas, a laundry facility and an on-site beauty shop. Small pets are also accepted. This Henderson property is located on the RTC fixed route bus system. A special Henderson route (#702) is available on Monday and Thursday designed to meet weekly shopping needs. The Fremont Medical Center is located down the street and St. Rose Domincan Hospital is also in close proximity. There is a large community room with a ping-pong table, piano, shuffleboard, kitchen area, library with books and puzzles. A very active Resident Council coordinates various events such as bingo games, potlucks and a newsletter. The property is located east of Boulder Hwy, south of Lake Mead Drive at Van Wagenen. Hampton Court
This Public Housing development is for family, senior and disabled residents. This community has 100 units including: 20 - one bedroom units, 30 - two bedroom units, 36 - three bedroom units, 14 - efficiency units. This property was acquired in 1977 and was named in honor of W.R. (Bob) Hampton, former Henderson Mayor and Authority Board Chairman and Vice Chairman. The walk-up units feature security screen doors, laundry hook-ups, evaporative coolers, storage areas and new stairways. This property is scheduled for total interior renovation, including air conditioning. The Henderson Marker Boys and Girls Club is available on site at the Selma Bartlett Youth Facility, and there is also a playground. The property participates in the Henderson Community Policing Program. The property is located south of Lake Mead Drive at Warm Springs and Center Street. Harry Levy Gardens
Harry Levy Gardens is a Public Housing three story high-rise development for seniors 62 and older. This beautifully maintained community has 150 studio units located at 2525 W. Washington Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89106. This senior community is conveniently located near a pharmacy, restaurants, and public transportation. There is also a computer center and laundry facility on-site. The management office can be reached at (702) 922-6100.

Hullum Homes
This is a Public Housing development for families. This community has 59 - units including: 42 - two bedroom units, 13 - three bedroom units, and 4 - four bedroom units. This property was placed into service in 1982 and named in honor of Jimmie Hullum, former Executive Director from 1963 – 1968. The large two-story units feature laundry hook-ups, evaporative coolers, and storage space. The property offers plenty of parking, playgrounds and an EOB Center/Preschool on site. It is within walking distance to many shopping centers, banks, schools, and bus routes. This northeast property is adjacent to Jones Gardens and is located south of Lake Mead Boulevard, between Lamb and Nellis. James Down Towers
James Down Towers is a Public Housing high-rise development for seniors. This 4-floor complex has 200 units from one to two bedrooms. This Senior high-rise building is within walking distance to casino and neighborhood pharmacy and has onsite laundry facilities. It is located at 5000 West Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89107. Jones Gardens
This is a Public Housing development for families. This community has 90 units including: 60 - two bedroom units, 22 - three bedroom units, and 8 - four bedroom units. This property was placed into service in 1985 and was named in honor of Robert Jones, legal counsel to the Housing Authority for 37 years. The large, spacious units feature vertical blinds, security screen doors, laundry hook-ups, evaporative coolers, and storage space. The property offers plenty of parking, playgrounds and an EOB Center/Preschool on site. This northeast property is adjacent to Hullum Homes and is located south of Lake Mead Boulevard. between Lamb and Nellis. It is within walking distance to many shopping centers, banks, schools, and bus routes. The management office is located at 1750 Marion Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89115. Landsman Gardens
This is a Public Housing Development for families. This community has 100 units including: 30 - two bedroom units, 34 - three bedroom units, 26 - four bedroom units, 10 - five bedroom units, This property was placed into service in 1971 as the first family Public Housing offered in Clark County. The site was named in honor of Albert M. Landsman, former Board Chairman. The single-story units feature blinds, laundry hook-ups, air conditioning/evaporative coolers, private driveways and entrances, back yards, and storage space. The property offers plenty of parking, open green areas with mature landscaping, playgrounds, an EOB Center (Daycare), a WIC (Women Infants and Children) Center and participates in the Henderson Community Policing program.
This Henderson property is located east of Boulder Highway at Major and Burkholder.

Marble Manor
Marble Manor is a Public Housing Development for families. It was established in the year 1953, with expansions in 59, 60, and 62. This community has 235 units from one to four bedrooms. It is located at Washington and H Streets, Las Vegas, NV 89106 and has spacious common areas for all types of family activities. Also within walking distance to this community is the Andre Aggassi Boys and Girls Club Complex and a local elementary school. Lubertha Johnson Estates is a Public Housing Development for seniors. This community has 112 units. It is located at 3900 Perry Street, Las Vegas, NV 89122. Espinosa Terrace

Marion D. Bennett, Sr. Plaza
Marion D. Bennett Plaza is a newly constructed Public Housing development for seniors 62 & older and/or disabled. This beautiful community has 61 one-bedroom units and 4 two-bedroom units. It also has a variety of amenities such as a business center, exercise room, library, beauty salon, wellness center, theater room, and 4 laundry rooms on-site. It is located at 1818 Balzar Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89106. The management office can be reached at (702) 922-7085.

Marble Manor Annex
Marble Manor Annex is a Public Housing Development for families. It was established in the year 1960. This community has 20 units from one to four bedrooms. There are laundry facilities onsite and there are fast food restaurants, a neighborhood post office and a variety of small businesses within walking distance. Otto Merida Desert Villas

Otto Mérida Desert Villas is a new 60-unit affordable family development located on East Charleston Blvd. at the intersection of Interstate 95 in Las Vegas. All of the units at Otto Mérida Desert Villas are set aside as incentive housing for current public housing residents who are working, going to school, or taking part in other economic self-sufficiency efforts. Otto Mérida Desert Villas located in Ward 3 consists of 27-two bedroom, 30 three-bedroom and 3 four-bedroom detached single-family and duplex rental units, each with its own one-car garage, organized on an 8-acre site. The development includes a Clubhouse and many outdoor activities. The low-density design mirrors ownership housing in the surrounding neighborhood and redefines the image of public housing in Las Vegas. Rose Gardens

Rose Gardens is a 120-unit Senior Public Housing Development located on 1632 Yale Street in North Las Vegas. Rose Gardens consists of 60 zero-bedroom studio units and 60 one-bedroom units. The Development is open to seniors 55 and older. Here, there is an onsite laundry facility, a newly renovated recreation hall, an active resident council, and community garden. Scattered Site Housing

Schaffer Heights

Schaffer Heights
Schaffer Heights is a Public Housing Development for senior and disabled residents. This community has 75 units including: 70 - one bedroom units - 546 Sq. Ft., and 5 - two bedroom units - 597 Sq. Ft. The air-conditioned units feature a living room, dining area, kitchen, spacious bedroom and large closets. A laundry facility and recreation room are located onsite. The site opened in 1983 and was named in honor of Commisioner Gerald Schaffer. In 1989, Schaffer Heights received National and Regional “Project Design Awards” from National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. The excellent centralized location, just north of Desert Inn off of Pecos McLeod, offers easy access to the Boulevard Mall, grocery stores, drug stores, banks, hospitals, and bus routes. The Winchester Community Center is within walking distance across street. The beautifully landscaped grounds and recreation room provides a private, peaceful and enjoyable setting for seniors in our community. Sherman Gardens

This community has 80 units that include two bedrooms and is located at 1701 "J" Street, Las Vegas, NV 89106. Sherman Gardens Annex
Sherman Gardens Annex is a Public Housing Development for families. It was established in the year 1965. Simmons Mannor
Simmons Manor is a Public Housing development for families. This community has 61 Public Housing units including: 27 - two bedroom units, 30 - three bedroom units, and 4 - four bedroom units. Construction began June 11, 2001 and the development opened September 2002. This property is named in honor of Commissioner and Chairman, John W. Simmons. The newly constructed two-story units feature carpeting, air conditioning, and patios overlooking green areas, storage areas and washer/dryer hook-ups. The property offers a community center, a playground area for children and ample parking. Shopping, schools and bus transportation are located nearby. This property is located close to the corner of Flamingo and Cabana Road located east of the SNRHA Administration Building on Flamingo Road. Vera Johnson Manor B is a Public Housing Development for families. The community has 112 units of two to three bedroom sizes.
